It'd be nice to see this feature for ordinary google users as well as adding at least edit ability if not being able to add events. when can we expect that?
Woo hoo! Thanks so much for this! I've been waiting. Now, with offline support for Google Docs, Gmail, RTM, and GCal, my "live in the cloud" strategy for my netbook is complete, and browser based. Who needs heavy client applications? :-)
It would be nice to have an option to schedule events, e.g. for *last* Saturday of the month (which is not always the same as 4th Saturday of the month)

we dont have an "offline" option anywhere, though we're using Google Apps and the admin enabled all features.
