Given the success and popularity of Gmail Labs, we're now making Labs available in Google Calendar. Google Calendar Labs will not only make it possible for us to release
experimental Calendar features early and often to users, but
the new Calendar API will also let Google Apps enterprise customers extend calendaring
capabilities in highly specialized and custom ways that meet the needs of their business and employees.
Our tasks don't work because we don't have Chat enabled on our domain. Apparently the tasks uses some underlying component that is only available if the Chat components are running in GoogleApps email. Can we just take the Tasks button off somehow since it doesn't work?
ReplyDeletePlease for the love of all things Google, add a gadget to be able to Color Code individual events on one calendar. For companies like me using Google Apps domains, multiple calendars are useless because they are not included in your free/busy search without having to keep duplicate copies of events on multiple calendars. So we lose the ability to color code by using secondary calendars. A lab feature to color code would be great. Even if we are only color coding the "menu bar" of an event, and not the body. This way the body of an event signifies the calendar it is on, while the menu bar of the event is my own labeling system.

ReplyDeleteWe are also stuck with a non-functioning Tasks button in our domain. Perhaps Google jumped the gun on deploying this to everyone?

ReplyDeleteThe "next event" lab should allow you to either choose which calendar it is displaying or display for all visible calendars (using only one window in both cases). I don't really use my default calendar only my work and school calendars so the lab is useless. =[
ReplyDeleteI'm with anthony, all the "next event" panel needs is a simple options to choose a calendar, or work with all visible calendars. I don't want to merge my calendars, just because "next event" only works with the default calendar.

ReplyDeleteIs there a feature that overlays hourly weather forecasts on the calendar? I was just planning hikes in Colorado and it would have been useful.
