This is a huge step on being able to take on SharePoint. Programmatic site creation and user maintenance from external processes and apps really is its bread and butter.
Once you guys add in some basic workflow ability (beyond writing pure javascript by hand) it's baked!
There is a problem with the "search field" when trying to search for scripts. This issue happens on Chrome and Firefox and on other computers that I've tried in my office. Someone should certainly look into this.

You should consider making blogger part of Apps so that people can do this wot of batch-creation of blogs.
